I’ve tried a few different beers and brewed a few too. Haven’t tried this one yet but it looks promising, especially with the oatmeal flavor!

I am up for all gluten free beers on the market and am REALLY glad when someone can find a beer they can enjoy. As a business owner, it would make absolutely no sense for Widmer Brothers to release their process. They are in business to make and sell a quality beer and they appear to be doing just that. My suggestion, keep being a good customer and they will keep producing a quality product. :-)

Cheers Mate and thanks for you comment!

I hope they will consider licensing their process so others can produce a similar product. Or even better I can brew my own!

Beer, although it is not thought of this way, IS like a fine wine which to me is what makes it fun. Everyone has a different palate and prefers a different taste so keeping gluten free beers in a craft beer, small brewing batch fashion is much better in my opinion. You get to try different beers and find what you like. If you don’t like this one, you may like one of their other choices or somebody elses. Unless you just don’t like the taste of beer at all, we can all find something that we enjoy. Keep trying and share your finding with us. Last I knew, Crispin had around 9 different options so to say you like Crispin is pretty broad in and of itself, though I like most of them which are also reviewed here. :-)

They had the Omission’s Gluten Free beer (Blue Label). We ordered one. I have Celiacs so I just took a small drink of it. I did not care for the taste of it. Another family member ended up drinking most of it. There was to much of an after taste. Yes how you describe it in the above article holds true. I do get a Crispin beer once in awhile when I go out, which I enjoy.
